Tuma Lawn Service provides several programs in our Tree & Shrub Care.  Like Lawn Fertilization, Tree & Shrub Care is divided into applications depending on the season.

1 - Early Spring

    Dormant Oil - A foliar applied spray to control the eggs of certain insects BEFORE they hatch.

Three Foliar spray applications will be done at the following stages:

2 - Late Spring

3 - Early Summer

4 - Late Summer

5 - Early Fall

    Ornamental Anti-desiccant Spray - Reduces winter injury on sensitive evergreen ornamentals.  A waxy covering is applied to the leaves and stems which reduces moisture loss during winter's harsh weather, thus helping to reduce winter burn and desiccation.

6 - Late Fall

    Deep Root Fertilization - Provides essential macro and micro nutrients to trees and shrubs.

... In addition, we also provide a Shrub Bed Weed Control Program.  This valuable application will control shrub bed weeds up to 10 weeks.  Two applications per year are recommended.  These should be done in early spring and early fall.
